Silhouettes: Dissonance
Silhouettes: Dissonance is an experimental survival runner where your greatest threat is also your only weapon. You are a Render Node, a stable point in the chaos. The data-corrupted Grubs are drawn to you, latching on to verify their own existence.
Your goal is to reach the Nexus Portals. But you cannot go alone.
THE MECHANICS OF PANIC
◼ THE CARGO SYSTEM (Risk vs. Reward) Grubs that latch onto you slow you down with Encumbrance. Carrying them is dangerous, but necessary. Every Grub you successfully carry through a portal evolves into a higher-tier anomaly in the next stage.
◼ ECOLOGICAL WARFARE You aren't just running; you are introducing an invasive species to new depths of the void. Evolved anomalies are hostile to the native grubs. Carry enough cargo, and you can weaponize their hunger to clear a path for yourself.
◼ THE DESPERATION ENGINE (Hold [J]) You have no attack. You only have panic. Holding [J] initiates a violent, uncontrollable rejection state. You lose movement precision, violently fling attached cargo away, and leak precious Salt. Use it only when overwhelmed.
◼ SALT STRATIGRAPHY (Build) You carry a limited supply of pure, uncorrupted data (Salt). Dropping Salt creates temporary, high-fidelity safe zones that repel the wireframe swarm. Treat it like a precious resource; you are building a bridge across an ocean of noise.
